Brand Identity: V1.0
Last Updated: April 2023
Our logo represents who we are and what we do, and should be used on every main communication from Cripple Productions. Our logo introduces the idea of standing up and standing out, we are a voice to be heard and noticed.
It is important to retain as much clear space around our logo as possible. This helps to create clarity and improves legibility and attribution. As a minimum, clear space should be determined by the width of the 'I' in "CRIPPLE". Minimum size should be determined by legibility on a per application basis. Use the following as a guide:
Minimum size:
Digital: 50px tall
Print: 5mm tall
Our logo can be used in any of the brand colors. It can also be used in black or white when color is not an option.
The CP brandmark is an essential part of the logo suite. It can be used as an identifier when the full wordmark isn't needed. It's a flexible element that can adapt to different situations.
The CP mark looks great in most color pairings. Use any of the color pairings provided or use the brand palette to explore different options to suit a given application. The CP mark should always be shown with the black outline in order to provide contrast with background elements and colors.
We're not precious about our logo. We're happy to push and flex our wordmark and brandmark to create new brand assets. These should never replace the main logo but rather be used for extra collateral, merch etc.
Our typefaces are NaN Holo and GT America. NaN Holo is a bold a strong display face and GT America is used for bold sub-headings and legible body copy.

Our color palette consists of a bright set of core colors paired with a muted secondary palette for use in backgrounds, illustrations. All colors are AAA accessible when using black text on colored backgrounds. Off-white is used as the main background color as it’s easier to read for dyslexia than a pure white.

A set of illustrations to represent our community. These can be used as their mono or color versions and are a great way to inject our playful personality in to a piece of comms.
The color versions of our illustrations should change when used on a black/dark background so certain items of clothing don't get lost.
